SOLUTION OF AN INVERSE PARABOLIC PROBLEM WITH UNKNOWN SOURCE-FUNCTION AND NONCONSTANT DIFFUSIVITY VIA THE INTEGRAL EQUATION METHODS
In this paper, a nonlinear inverse problem of parabolic type, is considered. By reducing this inverse problem to a system of Volterra integral equations the existence, uniqueness, and stability of the solution will be shown.
متن کاملInverse source problem for the lineraized Navier - Stokes equations with interior data in arbitrary sub - domain
We consider an inverse problem of determining a spatially varying factor in a source term in a nonstationary linearized Navier-Stokes equations by observation data in an arbitrarily fixed sub-domain over some time interval. We prove the Lipschitz stability provided that the t-dependent factor satisfies a non-degeneracy condition. Our proof based on a new Carleman estimate for the Navier-Stokes ...
متن کاملCarleman estimates and observability inequalities for parabolic equations with interior degeneracy
We consider a parabolic problem with degeneracy in the interior of the spatial domain, and we focus on Carleman estimates for the associated adjoint problem. The novelty of interior degeneracy does not let us adapt previous Carleman estimate to our situation. As an application, observability inequalities are established.
متن کاملA Bayesian approach to the inverse source problem for the parabolic approximation to the Maxwell equations
We consider a class of inverse source problems for the parabolic approximation to the Maxwell equations using a Bayesian approach.
متن کاملRegularity of a inverse problem for generic parabolic equations
The paper studies some inverse boundary value problem for simplest parabolic equations such that the homogenuous Cauchy condition is ill posed at initial time. Some regularity of the solution is established for a wide class of boundary value inputs.
